The Lancaster Bible College men's tennis team opened its 2017 campaign with a 9-0 loss to Mount Aloysius on Sunday in Altoona, Pa. The Mounties improved to 5-4 this year, while the Chargers dropped to 0-1.

Jason Steiner played the best of the three doubles matches for Lancaster Bible as the Steiner's lost, 8-4 to Nick Centar and Jalen Terry.Â
In singles, sophomore
Ming Bowser dropped a 6-1, 6-2 decision at number one singles, while junior
Evan Holbrook fell, 6-0, 6-0 at number two singles.
Jared Steiner lost, 6-1, 7-6 (5) at number three singles, while brother Jason fell, 6-3, 6-2 at number four singles.Â
Freshman
Keven Vallette dropped his first collegiate match, 6-2, 7-5 at number five singles, while senior
Caleb Onasch lost his first collegiate match, 6-1, 6-0.
The Chargers are back on the court on Tuesday when they face Penn St. Harrisburg at 3:30 p.m. in Middletown, Pa.
