The Lancaster Bible College baseball team lost its second straight game on Wednesday, falling to Hood, 15-4 in Frederick, Md. The loss, the Chargers second of the season to the Blazers, drops Lancaster Bible to 9-6 this season, while Hood improved to 7-13.
How it Happened: In a game that finished with 19 runs between the two teams, Hood led just 1-0 after four innings and 3-0 after five innings. Lancaster Bible had four hits in the opening five innings, but didn't have a runner get past second base. That changed in the sixth however as
Josh Mayer singled and
Justin Taylor followed with an RBI double that cut the Chargers' deficit to 3-1.Â
Hood restored its three-run lead in the bottom of the inning and then exploded for five runs in the bottom of the seventh to take a 9-1 advantage. The Chargers didn't quit, as they scored three times in the eighth to move back to within five runs.

Braden Elliott each had RBI hits for the Chargers in the eighth inning.
The Blazers put the game away for good in the bottom half of the inning though, as they scored six runs and went on to win, 15-4.
