The Lancaster Bible College men's volleyball program begins the 16th season in program history on Friday night, as the Chargers will once again take part in the Jim Coleman Invitational on the campus of Wittenberg University in Springfield, Ohio. The Chargers are coming off the most successful season in program history, in which the team finished 24-5 overall, won its first-ever North Eastern Athletic Conference Championship, and won the college's first-ever NCAA National Tournament contest, as the Chargers advanced to the NCAA Division III Quarterfinals after defeating Rivier, 3-2 in the opening round of the tournament.
Â
The Chargers welcome back a large portion of last season's team, as just three players graduated following the season. Sixteen players are back in Lancaster Bible uniforms, joined by six incoming freshman who represent one of Head Coach
Jade Brubaker's strongest recruiting classes.
