Box Score The Lancaster Bible College men's tennis team won its second straight match on Wednesday, as the Chargers defeated Lycoming, 7-2 in Williamsport, Pa. Lancaster Bible is now 2-1 overall this season, while the Warriors fell to 1-6.
 
How it Happened: The Chargers won two of the three doubles matches on Wednesday, as the number two team of 
Tyler Norris and 
Ming Bowser earned an 8-4 victory, while the flight three brother team of 
Yancy Butler and 
Derice Butler, posted an 8-0 win. The top doubles team of 
Luke Newberry and 
Keven Vallette dropped a close match, 8-6, to Mitch Wheary and Felix Mahon.
 
In singles play, Newberry defeated Wheary at number one singles, 6-1, 6-1, while Norris suffered a 6-1, 6-3 setback at number two singles. 
Yancy Butler picked up a 6-4, 6-1 win at number three singles, while Bowser earned a comeback win at number four singles, 2-6, 6-2, 10-2. Vallette won, 6-1, 6-3 at number five singles, and 
Derice Butler earned a 6-0, 6-0 victory at flight six singles.
 
Match Notes: Lancaster Bible is now 1-2 all-time against Lycoming…The Chargers are 1-1 in road matches this season.
