How It Happened
The Lancaster Bible College baseball team fell to SUNY Fredonia by a score of 7-2 on Saturday, March 12.

The Blue Devils (6-1 Overall) grabbed the early lead, building a 3-0 lead going into the bottom of the third inning. LBC (3-4 Overall) looked to respond, starting with Andrew Kidder working a walk to lead off the bottom of the third inning. Jaden Pinkney then hit a double, allowing Kidder to come around and score. Later in the inning, Tyler Cunningham hit a hard ground ball to second, allowing Pinkney to score.

The Chargers had runners on base in the fourth and sixth innings but could not manufacture a run. SUNY Fredonia capitalized on the opportunity, building a 6-2 lead going into the 8th inning. Kaden Hunt tried to get a rally going in the eighth inning. Hunt doubled putting a runner in scoring position, but LBC could not get the timely hit they needed. SUNY Fredonia picked up the 7-2 victory.

Inside the Numbers
- Jaden Pinkney went 1-4 with a double, driving in one RBI
- Tyler Cunningham was also 1-4, picking up the team's other RBI
- Kaden Hunt was 1-4 with a double
- Ethan Varricchione and Adam Naylor each swiped a base

On the Mound
- Jacob Stong pitched 6.0 innings, allowing five runs on five hits while striking out four
- Tyler Cunningham threw 1.2 innings allowing only one run on one hit while picking up two strike outs
- Logan Kline finished out the game, throwing 1.1 innings, allowing one run on two hits

How It Happened
The Lancaster Bible College baseball team could not regain momentum after their game one defeat, falling to Illinois Wesleyan by a scoring of 13-0 to close out action on Saturday, March 12.

The Chargers (3-5 Overall) fell in an early hole, allowing three runs to the Titans (3-5 Overall) in the second and third innings to fall behind 6-0. Kaden Hunt tried to jump start the Chargers' offense in the second inning, cracking a double into the left center field gap. LBC could not bring him home. In the top of the third inning Jacob Stong hit a single down the right field line. Brian Coburn blasted a single through the left side to put a pair of runners on base, but the Chargers could not bring either runner home.

 Illinois Wesleyan halted the Chargers' attack, not allowing another baserunner until the sixth inning. LBC could not make a late rally, eventually falling by a score of 13-0.

Inside the Numbers
- Kaden Hunt led LBC's attack, posting a double in the second inning
- Jacob Stong added a single in the third inning
- Brian Coburn had LBC's other hit, knocking a single
- The Titans were led by Ethan Burgh went who went 2-3 with two RBIs

On the Mound
- Jackson York got the start, allowing six runs on seven hits in 2.1 innings of action
- Matthew Shaeffer came on in relief pitching 1.0 innings, allowing two runs on two hits
- Jacob Stolte pictched 1.2 innings of action, allowing two runs on three hits
- Bryce Schmidt closed out the game, allowing three runs on three hits
 
Who's Next
The baseball team will continue action on their spring break trip, taking on Oberlin College and MCLA on Sunday, March 13.
