The LBC Track & Field Teams had one of their best showings of the season, taking part in the York College Twilight Meet on Wednesday, April 13, taking on several area schools.

In the Field
Trey Baughman had another strong showing in the men's high jump, clearing 1.91 meters to win the event.
Nathan Vigil took third in the men's pole vault, vaulting 3.85 meters.
Kara Huber also took third in the women's pole vault, traveling 2.75 meters.
Emma Rohn set a new school record in the javelin, tossing the javelin 18.48 meters.
On the Track
The Chargers continued to excel in the hurdles this season.
Leah Bergey cruised to a victory in the 100-meter hurdles, posting a time of 15.68. Bergey also took the top spot in the 400-meter hurdles, setting a school record with a time of 1:07.47.
Elijah Herb punched his ticket to the NCCAA Outdoor Championships, running the 110-meter hurdles in a time of 16.37. Herb finished third in the event.
Eric Zimmerman had an excellent showing in the 200 meter dash, crossing the finish line second in a time of 22.53.
Adam Horning set a new school record in the 800 meters, recording a time of 2:05.55 and finishing ninth.
Emma Fertig earned her second school record, this one coming in the 5,000 meters where she finished the event in a time of 20:44.87.

Relays
LBC had a record setting day in the relay races. The men's 4X100 meter relay team made up of
Nick Songster,
Jalen Glasgow,
Nathan Vigil and
Eric Zimmerman set a new school with a time of 44.56, which was good enough for second at the event. The team of Nate Vigil,
Logan Burkholder,
Adam Horning and
Nick Songster set a new school record in the men's 4x400 meter relay smashing the previous school record with a time of 3:37.62. One of the highlights of the meet came in the women's 4x400 meter relay where the team of
Elizabeth Lieb,
Sydney Heller,
Bailey Donaldson and
Kara Huber blew away the previous school record with a time of 4:29.26. Huber rallied during the final 400 meters to win the event for LBC.
