The Lancaster Bible College Field Hockey program, along with the Lancaster Bible College Athletic Department, is pleased to announce its schedule for the 2022 season. Lancaster Bible is coming off a 3-13 season in 2021, including a 2-5 mark in Colonial States Athletic Conference play. The Chargers ended their season on a high note however with a 5-0 victory over Bryn Athyn.
 
Lancaster Bible Head Coach Becky Elliott enters her fifth season with the Chargers, as the program looks to advance to the CSAC Playoffs for the first time since joining the conference prior to the 2019 campaign.
 
The Chargers will open the 2022 season in Aston, Pa., as Lancaster Bible takes on Neumann on September 1 at 6 p.m. Lancaster Bible will head to Harrisonburg, Va. for Labor Day Weekend, as the Chargers battle Eastern Mennonite on Sept. 3. The Chargers will face Hood on Sept. 8 in Frederick, Md., and wrap-up their season-opening four-game road trip at Goucher on Sept. 13 in Baltimore, Md.
 
Lancaster Bible will play its first home game of the season on Friday, Sept. 16 when the Chargers host Immaculata at 7 p.m. They'll follow that up with a home game against Lycoming on Sept. 21, and celebrate Homecoming Weekend with a Saturday evening contest against Southern Virginia at 6 p.m.
 
The Chargers will open CSAC play on Sept. 28 with a home contest against Bryn Athyn, and will conclude their five-game homestand with a game against Wells on Saturday, Oct. 1 at 5 p.m. Lancaster Bible will take on Eastern on Oct. 5 in St. Davids, Pa., and then head to New York to battle Houghton on Saturday, Oct. 8. The Chargers face a tough test on Oct. 13 at Wilson, and will return home for Senior Day on Saturday, Oct. 15 against Cedar Crest at 11 a.m.
 
Lancaster Bible's final home game of the regular season will be Oct. 18 against Notre Dame (Md.), and the Chargers will conclude the regular season with three road games at Sweet Briar, Drew, and Keystone.
 
The CSAC Semifinals are set for November 2, and the CSAC Final is scheduled for Saturday, Nov. 5 at the highest remaining seed.
