How It Happened: The Chargers started off well early in the first set tied at 3-3 with big plays from
Tessa Kwiatkowski getting a service ace and
Faith Hammond putting up a kill, but the Diplomats bounced right back pulling away to a 13-5 lead.
Morgan Fenstermacher and
Chloe King mustered two kills and a service ace, respectively, to try to bring the game back for Lancaster Bible, but Franklin & Marshall ended the first set with a 25-15 win. Lancaster Bible came back with a vengeance in a wild first set that saw eight lead changes before the second set was tied at ten.
Leah Helman got an ace that sparked four unanswered points for the Chargers. Despite the hot start, the Diplomats started to slowly crawl back tying it at 19 late in the second set. The Chargers ended the set on fire with a 6-1 run closing out the win 25-20.
The third set started just as tight as the second with both teams tied at seven following five tied scores and four lead changes. Despite a
Chloe King kill, Franklin & Marshall pulled away on an 8-1 run to go up 15-8. King followed up by getting two service aces in a 3-0 run for the Chargers, but the Diplomats answered with a 3-0 run of their own. Franklin & Marshall ended up closing out the third set winning 25-15. In the fourth set, the Chargers struggled to get things going early as they trailed 10-4. Lancaster Bible stayed toe-to-toe with Franklin & Marshall behind two kills from King and a kill from Fenstermacher to bring it back to a 14-17 deficit. Despite a late push, the Diplomats were too much for the Chargers and won the fourth set 25-21 to seal the victory.

Information to Know: The Chargers are yet to overcome the Diplomats as they now fall to 0-11 all-time against Franklin & Marshall.
Chloe King now surpassed 100 digs on the year currently holding 108. King also marked a personal best in aces so far this year with three.
Leah Helman, the team leader in digs, just passed 200 and has 209 so far in her junior year. On a historical note,
Chloe King surpassed 600 career kills tonight and enters the top-10 in program history for kills, passing Lauren (Miller) Robertson for 10th all-time at 605 kills.
Morgan Fenstermacher also hit a career milestone with 500 career kills, becoming the 14th player in program history to reach that mark.
