Defensively, the Chargers are led by standout senior libero Leah Helman, who became the program's all-time dig leader while finishing the regular season with 560 total digs.

Looking back at this year's match with Penn St. Abington, the Chargers rushed to a 3-0 win at home on October 9 by scores of 25-18, 25-10, and 25-18. They were led by Reap with 12 kills and Sareyka with 11 kills. Junior Riley Dodrer had four blocks and Helman tallied 16 digs.
