The Lancaster Bible College Men's Basketball team closed out their Nashville trip on Friday evening, earning a tight 92-88 victory over Chatham behind graduate student
Grant Sareyka's 30-point performance. The Chargers improve to 6-5 overall and 2-1 in the United East, while the Cougars drop to 8-3 overall and 5-1 in the PAC.

Nile Austin scored first for the Chargers off a steal, then senior
Carlos Reynoso gave LBC their first lead on a fastbreak layup off another steal by Austin. The Cougars led by as many as 12 in the first half with about eight minutes to play, but the Chargers slowly cut into the deficit starting with a 3-pointer from junior
Reaves Hooks. The lead was chopped to just three points late in the half, but Chatham retained a 44-40 lead heading into the break.
A three from Sareyka and a layup from sophomore
Camden Hurst put the Chargers in front by one just two minutes into the second half, then the Cougars battled back to an eight-point lead at the 14-minute mark. The Chargers trailed by as many as 10 in the half, but continued to fight back with quick scores and solid free throw shooting. Hurst tied the game at 75, then senior
Tyshaun Pulley scored on a fastbreak to give LBC a 77-75 lead. That lead extended to their largest of the game at eight as Sareyka scored eight straight points for the Chargers as they controlled the final minutes and earned a four-point victory in Nashville.

This was the first-ever matchup between Lancaster Bible and Chatham. The Chargers move to 6-5 on the season and split their Nashville trip at 1-1, wrapping up their neutral site games for the season.
Grant Sareyka improved to third place in the Chargers' career scoring ranks, passing David Green ('88) with 1,786 career points.
