The Lancaster Bible College Field Hockey team hosted the Immaculata Mighty Macs in their home opener for the 2024 season falling 4-0. The Chargers drop to 1-4 overall while the Mighty Macs improve to 4-1 on the season.
How It Happened: The Mighty Macs scored early as Alexis Andrada got her first goal of the game just over a minute into the game. With a 1-0 lead the Macs continued to stay on the offensive front scoring again late in the period. The Macs found their third goal late in the second period despite the Chargers defense doing everything they could.
Looking for a shift a momentum, the ball stayed in the middle of the field to start the second half until the visitors found their fourth and final goal of the season seven minutes into the half. While the Chargers did their best to get an offensive spurt, the Macs squashed any efforts as they went on to win 4-0.
By the Numbers: The Chargers were outshot 18-2… Chargers Goalkeeper notched seven saves on the game… the penalty corners were 10-1 in favor of the visitors…Alexis Andrada had two goals for the Mighty Macs.
