The United East Conference Postseason has arrived as the Lancaster Bible College Women's Volleyball team earned the 3-seed in the postseason tournament, finishing with a 7-3 conference record and a Quarterfinal berth. The Chargers earned a home match right here in Lancaster on Saturday, November 8 as they will host 6-seed Penn St. Brandywine at 1:00 p.m. for a shot at the Final Four of the conference playoffs.

Season Recap
The Chargers finished the regular season with a record of 16-11 and a 7-3 conference finish, winning a season-high nine straight games from October 2-25 and going 9-1 in the month of October. The Chargers have been led by junior
Lea Sareyka with a team-high 261 kills, the sixth-most in the conference and ranked eighth in kills per set at 2.84. Sareyka is also fifth in the United East in service aces, leading the Chargers with 63 including 17 games with multiple aces. Also leading the offense are juniors
Jessica Fletcher and
Eden Belford with 195 and 186 kills respectively and Belford hitting for a .228 attack percentage, ranked 14th in the conference. On the defensive side, senior
Madison Timberlake has impressed in her final season with the Chargers as she sits atop the United East Conference in total digs with 453 and has the most digs per set in the conference at 4.92. Madison has 11 games with 20+ digs and has added 75 assists and 36 service aces, garnering four Defensive Player of the Week honors this season, the most in the United East. Other key players for the Chargers include sophomore
Madison Reap with 131 kills and a .220 hitting percentage, senior
Riley Dodrer with 104 kills and a team-leading 47 blocks, and junior
Madeline Reed with 533 total assists to lead the Chargers and rank fifth in the conference in assists per set (5.73).

The Chargers and Lions met on October 4 in Media, Pa. as the Chargers swept the Lions 3-0 on the road in conference play.
Lea Sareyka led the way with 11 kills and two service aces with
Madison Reap hitting for seven kills and registering 15 digs on defense.
