The Lancaster Bible College Men's Basketball team ended the week on the road at Rosemont on Saturday afternoon in United East action, earning an 82-59 victory. The Chargers improve to 15-6 overall and 10-2 in the United East, while the Ravens fall to 3-18 overall and 1-11 in conference play.
How it Happened:
The Chargers scored on the opening possession as sophomore
Camden Hurst knocked down a jumper, then raced out to a 10-0 lead capped off by a layup from senior
Maureon Tisdale-Couch. Junior
Nile Austin was the next to score for the Chargers on a 3-pointer, then junior
Luke Rumbaugh scored back-to-back layups to increase the lead to 19-6 seven minutes in. The Chargers continued to get contributions from everyone on the floor, leading by as many as 29 points in the first half after another layup from Rumbaugh. The Ravens showed life late in the first half with a 12-0 run over the final four minutes to cut the lead to just 12 at halftime.
Hurst got a pair of layups to go to start half number two, putting the lead back up to 16. It was Hurst that scored again on a made three, but Rosemont cut the lead down to just eight points with about 12 minutes remaining. Senior

Connor Storr each scored throughout the second half to maintain the lead, then the Chargers pulled away on a 13-0 run with buckets from Storr and junior
Reaves Hooks to build the lead to 25 at 73-48. Sophomores
Daniel King and
Tyler Chapman each got points in the final minutes as the Chargers closed out the 23-point road win and their 10th United East win of the season.

- The Chargers shot a season-best 55-percent from the field, 22-percent from deep, and 50-percent on free throws, while the Ravens shot 42-percent from the field, 41-percent from deep, and 47-percent on free throws
