The Lancaster Bible College Men's and Women's Outdoor Track & Field teams traveled to Millersville, Pa. on Saturday to compete in the Millersville Invite hosted by Millersville University, breaking five school records with a pair of NCCAA qualifications and four first-place finishes.

The Men's team saw a plethora of personal records on the track as well as four top-10 finishes and one event winner as
David Helms (Jr.) placed first in the 5,000-Meters with a time of 15:29.65. Joining Helms in the 5K were
John Spackman (Fr.) and
Victor Hanley (Fr.), both setting personal records as Spackman finished with a time of 18:08.95 and Hanley crossed the line at 18:22.69. In the 1,500-Meters,
Ethan Dell (So.) and
Dustin Frantz (Gr.) both competed, with Dell placing sixth in a time of 4:26.00 and Frantz setting a personal best with a time of 5:41.98. In the sprints,
Karahn Garfield-Cotton (Sr.) showed out as he made the finals in the 100-Meters with a PR of 11.59, then reset his personal best right after in the finals as he placed eighth at 11.51 seconds. Karahn also set a personal record in the 200-Meters, placing 12th with a time of 23.89.
Kingsiah Oquendo (Fr.) also ran the 200-Meters with a time of 25.49, setting a personal record in the 400-Meters as well in a time of 55.48. In hurdles,
Gavin Hunter (Fr.) placed fourth in the 400M Hurdles in a time of 59.34 while
Nate Costume (Fr.) set a personal-best time of 1:12.15 in the event.

The Women's team saw one school record fall on the track on Saturday as
Abby Ames (Jr.) reset her own record in the 1,500-Meters with a time of 5:06.48, placing sixth and qualifying for NCCAA Outdoor Championships.
Seana Dougherty (So.) placed sixth in the 5,000-Meters with a time of 19:31.70 while
Mycah Wilkinson (Fr.) set a personal record in the event with a time of 24:55.62.
Faith Garber (Jr.) set a personal record in the 400M Hurdles with a time of 1:19.19, and in the 800-Meters two personal records were broken as Ames finished at 2:35.67 and
Cadee Cameron (So.) ran the race in a time of 2:40.89.

The Men's Team set three new school records in field events, including
Kyle Durkin (Jr.) shattering his own Javelin Throw record with a distance of 59.66 Meters and moving into 21st place in all of NCAA Division III this season in the event.
Emery McCombs (So.) also had a big day for the Chargers, setting two new program records as he threw for 12.98 Meters in the Shot Put and 41.71 Meters in the Hammer Throw, both previously held by McCombs as well. Emery met the qualifying mark for NCCAA Championships in the Shot Put and improved upon his mark in the Hammer Throw, adding a throw of 29.96 Meters in the Discus Throw to his Saturday numbers.
Lucas Durkin set a trio of personal records, throwing for 12.28 Meters in the Shot Put, 34.69 Meters in the Discus Throw, and 34.25 Meters in the Hammer Throw for a career day.
Hudson Gosselin (Fr.) placed third in the Javelin Throw, topping 50-Meters with a distance of 50.54m and placing seventh in the Hammer Throw as well at 39.96 Meters. In the jumps,
Ethan Gonzalez (Fr.) and
Chase Gerber (Jr.) recorded a height of 1.75 Meters in the High Jump, with Gonzalez setting a personal-best.
Landon Zeiset (Fr.) took home first place in the Long Jump, winning the event with a jump of 6.39 Meters, while Hunter placed eighth overall at a distance of 5.67 Meters. Finally,
Aidan Miller (So.) won the Triple Jump event at 12.94 Meters for a season-best and Zeiset jumped for 12.22 Meters to place third.

The Women's team had one school record fall in the field as
Elly Bruner (Jr.) set a new program mark in the Triple Jump, jumping for 9.94 Meters and placing seventh in the event. Bruner also placed third in the High Jump with a height of 1.52 Meters. Rounding out the jumps were
Lizzie Dimov (So.) and
Audrey Vosburg (Sr.), jumping for 3.89 Meters and 3.28 Meters respectively. In the throws,
Martha Weaver (Jr.) racked up three top-10 finishes, placing fifth in the Shot Put (11.52 Meters), sixth in the Hammer Throw (38.24 Meters), and eighth in the Javelin Throw (27.95 Meters).
McKayla Vetterani (So.) set two personal records in throwing events, finishing at 25.84 Meters in the Hammer Throw and 8.85 Meters in the Shot Put.
Vera Innerst (So.) also set a personal best in the Shot Put, throwing for 9.85 Meters and placing 12th in the event.
