The Lancaster Bible College Men's and Women's Track & Field teams traveled to York, Pa. on Wednesday to compete in the York College Twilight Meet hosted by York College of Pennsylvania. The Chargers saw three school records fall and four athletes qualify for NCCAA Outdoor Championships during the meet with a plethora of personal- and season-bests as well.

The Men's team had personal records littered throughout the competition with freshman and returners setting new career marks. In the short distances,
Amari Williams (So.) set a personal-best in the 200-Meters with a time of 24.01 and
Kingsiah Oquendo (Fr.) had a personal-best as well at 25.73, with Oquendo also setting a personal record in the 400-Meters at 56.84.
Karahn Garfield-Cotton (Sr.) ran a season-best time of 24.18 in the 200-Meters and
Dustin Frantz (Gr.) also set a season-best in the 400-Meters with a time of 1:10.61.
Jaden Royal (Jr.) set a PR in the 800-Meters at 2:08.23 and
Gavin Hunter (Fr.) earned 12th place in the 400M Hurdles with a time of 59.29, meeting the NCCAA-qualifying mark. In the long-distance events,
David Helms (Jr.) placed 12th in the 5,000-Meters with a time of 16:02.05, qualifying him for NCCAA Outdoor Championships, while
Ethan Dell (So.) set a personal-best time in the 5K at 17:35.92.

The Women's team saw two school records fall on the track on Wednesday, with
Seana Dougherty (So.) setting another new program mark in the 800-Meters with a time of 2:33.58, besting her old record by three seconds.
Cadee Cameron (So.) also set a personal-best in the 800-Meters with a time of 2:41.86. In the 200-Meters,
Rachel Nolt (Jr.) debuted with a 22nd-place finish at a time of 27.66 and
Lizzie Dimov (So.) placed 24th with a time of 27.89. In the distance events,
Abby Ames (Jr.) landed an 11th-place finish in the 5,000-Meters, setting a personal record with a time of 19:33.29. In the relays, the team of
Faith Garber (Jr.),
Rachel Nolt,
Elly Bruner (Jr.), and
Lizzie Dimov broke the program record in the 4x100M Relay, finishing in a time of 51.73 and placing fifth in the event.

The Men's Team had four top-10 finishes and a school record broken in the field events. In the jumps,
Landon Zeiset (Fr.) debuted for the Chargers with a fifth-place finish in the High Jump at 1.85 Meters, qualifying him for the NCCAA Outdoor Championships, while
Chase Gerber (Jr.) also place in the top-10 at 1.70 Meters for ninth place.
Micah Richardson (Sr.) and
Luke Richardson (So.) reached 5.93 Meters and 5.90 Meters respectively in the Long Jump for 11th- and 12th-place, while
Ethan Gonzalez (Fr.) set a personal-best distance of 5.19 Meters in the event. In the throws,
Kyle Durkin (So.) reset the record book again in the Javelin Throw, beating his own record by throwing for 55.96 Meters and taking home third-place in the event, while
Hudson Gosselin (Fr.) placed right behind him at fourth with a personal-best throw of 54.01 Meters. Gosselin also finished 12th in the Hammer Throw at 38.74 Meters for a personal-best, with
Emery McCombs (So.) ranking in 13th at 38.38 Meters for a season-best mark. McCombs also competed in the Shot Put and the Discus Throw, throwing for 11.85 Meters in the Shot Put and a season-best 33.01 Meters in the Discus Throw.

The Women's team had four top-10 finishes in the field as well and one NCCAA qualification as
Martha Weaver (Jr.) qualified in the Shot Put with a throw of 11.50 Meters, setting a season-best. Weaver also placed ninth in the Javelin Throw at 28.68 Meters, 12th in the Hammer Throw at 32.83 Meters, and 12th in the Discus Throw for a season-best of 29.07 Meters to round out a strong showing. In the jumps,
Elly Bruner tied her program record set last week with a distance of 4.96 Meters in the Long Jump as she placed fourth overall, and
Rachel Nolt placed ninth in the High Jump with a height of 1.40 Meters.
