Schedule Highlights: The Chargers open the season August 29 at Mount Aloysius...Lancaster Bible hasn't faced the Mounties since 2010 when the Chargers won, 4-1 in Cresson, Pa...After Lancaster Bible's home opener against Alvernia on September 3, the Chargers will open North Eastern Athletic Conference play in New York against Cazenovia and Morrisville State on Sept. 5-6...The Chargers will face NEAC nemesis Penn St. Berks in Reading, Pa. on Sept. 15...The Nittany Lions will open a new turf field this season and Sept. 15 will mark the Chargers' first time on the field...Lancaster Bible will get its first crack at avenging last season's NCCAA East Region loss to Cairn on Sept. 27 which is Homecoming...After the Highlanders, the Chargers will look to avenge another loss as they face Penn St. Abington who ended Lancaster Bible's run in the NEAC Playoffs last season...The Chargers will open October against a new opponent as they travel to Houghton on Saturday, Oct. 4...Lancaster Bible will be home the following two weekends as they host Penn College on Oct. 11 and then SUNY Cobleskill and SUNYIT on Oct. 17-18...The Chargers will end the NEAC portion of the schedule on Oct. 24-25 in New York as they take on Wells and Keuka...Another new opponent, Susquehanna, will end the regular season for the Chargers as they head to Selinsgrove, Pa. on Oct. 29...The NEAC Playoffs will begin the following weekend, unless the Chargers are one of the top two seeds, in which case they won't play until the next weekend in the NEAC Semifinals, Nov. 8-9.

Season Outlook: Lancaster Bible lost five players from last year's squad, but gained eight players, many of whom should have an immediate impact...The Chargers have made it to at least the NEAC Semifinals in all three of their NEAC seasons and will look to replicate their 2012 season when they won the conference championship...The Chargers' six seniors are some of the most successful players to ever come through the program and will look to end on a high note...The games at Penn St. Berks and Penn St. Abington will likely be the most important if history is any indication, while making two trips to New York is also a difficult task...The Chargers have had a winning record in every season since 2010 and there is no reason to indicate that won't happen again.
