The United East Conference Postseason has arrived as the Lancaster Bible College Women's Soccer team earned the 4-seed in the postseason tournament, finishing with a 5-3 conference record and a Quarterfinal berth. The Chargers earned a home match right here in Lancaster on Saturday, November 1 as they will host 5-seed Penn St. Berks at 5:00 p.m. for a shot at the Final Four of the conference playoffs.

Season Recap
The Chargers finished the regular season with a record of 10-6 overall and a 5-3 United East mark under first year head coach
Seth Lehman, earning wins over Wilson, Penn St. Berks, Penn St. Abington, Valley Forge, and Penn St. Brandywine. The Chargers' have been highlighted by senior
Janae Bergey, commanding the offense with an astounding 23 total goals, leading the entire country across NCAA Division III in scoring. Janae broke the program record for goals in a single season on October 21 against Brandywine that had stood since 2004, registering five games with three goals this year, the most hat-tricks in a single season in program history. The Chargers have four other players with multiple goals this season, including sophomore
Zoe Beers with seven total scores, adding a team-leading nine assists with three games of multiple assists this year. Her nine assists are tied for 18th in all of Division III heading into the postseason. Another aspect of the Chargers' season has been their defense, pitching six total shutouts and allowing less than two goals per game this year. A solid junior class of defenders including
Samantha Perloni,
Haley Moyer, and
Zoi Whitsett have held things down, with senior
Kayleigh Rhine holding it down as well and contributing a pair of assists on offense.

Previous Matchup
The Chargers and Lions met on October 7 in Reading, Pa. as the Chargers grabbed a 2-1 victory on a pair of
Janae Bergey scores, including one in the final minute to down the Lions on the road. Senior
Marcy Foltz made five total saves in goal and
Zoe Beers notched two assists to Bergey in the Chargers' first win over Berks since the 2012 season.
