Box Score The Lancaster Bible women's soccer team bounced back from a 3-0 loss to Alvernia on Wednesday by defeating Cazenovia, 4-0 in upstate New York as the Chargers improved to 2-1 overall and 1-0 in North Eastern Athletic Conference play.

Bethany Stein scored two goals, while senior
Monica Lambertson and freshman
Briana Fodor scored the other goals. Fodor's goal was the first of her collegiate career, while Lambertson's was the 47th of her career. Lambertson added 10 shots as well on Friday, the second most of her career in a single game.

Kaitlyn Scheuing recorded her first shutout of the season as she made four saves. The shutout was the ninth of Scheuing's career. In addition to Scheuing, Lancaster Bible Head Coach
Ken Craul said he was pleased with the team's play in the middle of the field.
"We had a talk with our central midfielders and defenders at practice and prior to the game and wanted to make sure they corrected the mistakes they made on Wednesday," Craul said. "I thought everyone played very well in the middle today and it didn't seem to matter who we had out there as we just kept the ball moving and played well defensively."
Lancaster Bible outshot Cazenovia, 33-6 and held a 9-2 advantage in corner kicks.Â
The Chargers will take on Morrisville State on Saturday at 4 p.m. in Morrisville, N.Y. as they look to improve to 2-0 in NEAC play.
Notes:-Stein's two goals give her 25 for her career. Her next goal will tie her with Bekah Gruver (2002-05) for the sixth most in program history.
