The Lancaster Bible College women's soccer team begins its quest in the North Eastern Athletic Conference Playoffs for the eighth straight season on Tuesday, but the Chargers will open the quest in unfamiliar territory, as they will open the NEAC Playoffs on the road for the first time in program history.
Â
Lancaster Bible's journey will begin in Cazenovia, N.Y., as the Chargers face-off against the fourth-seeded Cazenovia Wildcats. In each of the previous seven seasons, the Chargers have either hosted the first game of the NEAC Playoffs, or taken on an opponent on a neutral field.
Â
Lancaster Bible enters the postseason as the fifth seed, and will look to advance to the NEAC Semifinals for the first time since the 2016 season, when the Chargers lost to Penn St. Berks, 1-0 in the NEAC Final in double overtime.
Â

The Chargers had a terrific opportunity to score in the second overtime, but
Jackie Moore's shot went just wide, after she made a terrific play to get the ball away from a defender and the goalkeeper.
