How it Happened
The Lancaster Bible College women's lacrosse team could not complete a fourth quarter rally, falling to Bryn Athyn by a score of 17-16 on Tuesday, April 19.

The Chargers (8-5 Overall, 2-1 United East) took an early lead, with Katelynn Perrotta scoring less than a minute into the game. The Lions (6-2 Overall, 3-0 CSAC) answered back, scoring the next two goals to grab the lead. Perrotta halted the run, scoring her second goal of the game and tying the game at two. Amanda Allen put LBC back in front, scoring on a free position shot. Bryn Athyn responded, scoring twice in a 12 second span to retake the lead. Kendal Ream tied the game at four, striking for the first time in the game. Perrotta netted her third goal of the quarter, putting LBC back in front. Moments later, Ream made a great pass to an open Molly Gray and Gray finished the scoring chance, putting LBC ahead 6-4.

Ream opened the second quarter by scoring a goal off a great pass from Perrotta, making the score 7-5. Ream scored the next two goals, keeping LBC ahead of the Lions. Allen scored just before halftime, capitalizing on free position shot to give the Chargers a 10-9 advantage going into the break.

Bryn Athyn scored the first two goals of the second half, retaking a one-goal lead. Perrotta tied the game at 11, finishing a shot off a well-timed pass from Ream. The Lions scored the final two goals of the quarter, taking a 13-11 lead going into the fourth quarter. Trailing by three, Perrotta started the rally, scoring after causing a turnover to make the score 14-12. Ream scored the next two goals, including one with a man-up advantage. Bryn Athyn answered back, scoring twice in a 35-second span to stretch the lead back to two. Perrotta scored two more goals, pulling LBC back within one with 3:22 remaining in the game. The Chargers could not retie the game, falling 17-16.
