As the calendar turns to July, the Lancaster Bible College Men's Soccer program, as well as the Lancaster Bible College Athletic Department, is pleased to announce the 2022 men's soccer schedule.

Lancaster Bible went 10-6-4 last season, en route to the United East Conference Final where the Chargers defeated St. Mary's (Md.) in overtime in the semifinals, before falling to Penn St. Harrisburg, 3-1 in the conference final. The Chargers once again took part in the NCCAA Div. I Midwest Region Playoffs and lost to Roberts Wesleyan, 4-1 in Rochester, N.Y.

Lancaster Bible Head Coach
Tom Ardt will begin his 12
th season at the helm of the Chargers on Friday, Sept. 2, as Lancaster Bible opens its 50
th season of play in western Pennsylvania against Geneva. The Chargers will stay on the western side of the commonwealth and face Grove City on Sept. 3, before battling Alvernia on Sept. 8 in Reading, Pa. Lancaster Bible will conclude its season-opening five-game road swing with games at Cairn on Sept. 12 and Lycoming on Sept. 14.

The Chargers will open the home portion of their schedule and United East Conference play on Saturday, Sept. 17 against Penn College, and then face Penn St. Berks on Sept. 21 in Reading, Pa. The Lancaster Bible community will celebrate Homecoming on Saturday, Sept. 24, and the Chargers will host St. Mary's (Md.) at 2:30 p.m. in a rematch of last season's United East Semifinal.

Lancaster Bible will wrap-up September with a home game against Goucher on the 28
th, before heading to SUNY Morrisville on Oct. 1. A rematch of last season's United East Conference Final will take place on Wednesday, Oct. 5 in Middletown, Pa., as the Chargers battle Penn St. Harrisburg and their new coach, Lancaster Bible graduate, Tony Gehman.

Lancaster Bible will play six home contests in October, the first of which will come on Saturday, Oct. 8 against Wells, followed by a game against Valley Forge on Oct. 10. The Chargers will welcome crosstown foe Franklin & Marshall to Donald H. Funk Field at Willis & Martha Herr Stadium on Wednesday, Oct. 12 at 7 p.m., as Lancaster Bible looks to avenge last season's loss to the Diplomats.

Lancaster Bible's final regular season road game will be Oct. 15 at Penn St. Abington, and the Chargers will host Mary Baldwin for the first time in program history on Oct. 17. The Chargers will wrap-up United East Conference play on Saturday, Oct. 22 against Gallaudet, and conclude the regular season on Friday, Oct. 28 against Penn St. Altoona.

The Chargers have qualified for the conference playoffs in each of the past seven seasons and will look to make it eight in 2022. The United East Conference Playoffs are set for Nov. 4-5 at the top seed.
