The United East Conference released their weekly award winners on Monday afternoon, with the Chargers earning one honor as Women's Volleyball senior Madison Timberlake was named Defensive Player of the Week for her performance. This is Timberlake's fourth weekly honor of the season and her first since September 15.
 
Timberlake helped fuel the Chargers to a 3-0 week as they defeated Gwynedd Mercy 3-0 at home on Wednesday and picked up two wins on Saturday in Madison, N.J. as they beat Susquehanna 3-1 and Drew 3-0. Madison totaled 57 digs across three matches last week for 5.70 digs per set, reaching 20 digs twice on Saturday with 20 against Susquehanna and 25 against Drew. To add to her numbers, Madison had 19 assists and two service aces, including a career-high 10 assists against Susquehanna. Timberlake now finds herself in 12th place on the all-time program digs list with 781 for her career and leads the United East Conference in total digs with 398, being tied for the lead in digs per set with 4.98.
 
The Chargers have three games left on their regular season slate, all at home as they host Gallaudet in conference play tonight at 7:00 p.m., followed by a home tri-match on Saturday, November 1 as they play St. Mary's (Md.) for Senior Day and host Shenandoah in non-conference play to wrap up the regular season.
