LANCASTER, Pa. – Lancaster Bible College and Charger Athletics are pleased to announce the hiring of
Justin Brubaker as the new Head Women's Volleyball Coach. Brubaker becomes the 13th head coach in program history.
Brubaker brings extensive collegiate coaching experience, having served in both assistant and head coaching roles across multiple institutions. He began his coaching career at Hannibal-LaGrange University (2013–15) in Hannibal, Missouri, where he helped develop the NAIA program over three seasons. He then spent one year as an assistant coach at NCAA Division II Lindenwood University (2016) in St. Charles, Missouri.
In 2016, Brubaker was named head coach at Erskine College in Due West, South Carolina, where he led the program through its transition and growth at the NCAA Division II level. During his tenure from 2016 to 2024, he built a competitive program while regularly competing against Division I opponents.
Brubaker joined Lancaster Bible College in August 2024, serving as an assistant coach for both the men's and women's volleyball programs. Over the past two seasons, he has played an integral role in the continued success and development of both teams.
As a player, Brubaker had a decorated career at Philadelphia Biblical University (now Cairn University), earning four NCAA Division III First Team All-American honors from 2007–11. Following his collegiate career, he also competed professionally in Sweden.
"I'm thankful for the opportunity to coach the Lancaster Bible College Women's Volleyball team," said Brubaker. "This program has already achieved a high level of success and established a strong foundation. I'm excited to build on that momentum, set high standards, and help our student-athletes grow both on and off the court. It's a great day to be a Charger."
"Justin has a proven track record of building programs and developing student-athletes with intentionality and purpose," said Director of Athletics
Bryan Curtis. "His experience at multiple levels, combined with his understanding of our mission and culture, makes him the right leader for this program. We are excited for the future of LBC Women's Volleyball under his leadership."
Brubaker's leadership and experience mark an exciting new chapter for the Chargers as the program builds on its tradition, pursues excellence, and develops Christ-centered relationships that impact others.
