The United East Conference announced their Field Hockey All-Conference and Major Award winners for the 2025 season on Tuesday morning, with two Lancaster Bible players earning All-Conference recognition. Junior midfielder
Riley Danko was named to the All-Conference First Team while freshman defender
Rebekah Hoover earned Second Team honors in her first season. This is Danko's second career All-Conference selection while Hoover garners her first career selection.
Â
Danko helped lead the Chargers' offense this season as she scored a career-high five goals and led the team with a career-high four assists for a total of 14 points on the year. Riley notched a hat-trick with three goals on September 16 in a home win over Goucher and took multiple shots in eight games this season for Lancaster Bible. Danko ranks ninth in the United East in shots per game with 2.00, finishing the season tied for eighth in scoring with five total goals and tied for ninth in total assists with four. Riley was one of just six players in the conference with multiple game-winning goals as she had two against both Alfred (8/30) and Goucher (9/16). Danko ends her career as the program's all-time assists leader with 10 assists and tied for the program record with three career game-winning goals, also ranking in the top-5 in LBC's Division III history in goals, points, shots, and shots on goal.
Â
Hoover made an immediate impact on the Chargers as a freshman, playing every single minute in 2025 as a defender and impacting the offensive side of the ball as well. Rebekah was second on the team in scoring with three goals, getting her first score on October 4 at Penn St. Harrisburg and then scoring two goals at home against Wilson on October 14 for her first career multi-goal game. Hoover was also third on the team in both shots (7) and shots on goal (6), being one of 20 players across the United East with at least three goals this season.
Â
For Major Award winners, Penn St. Harrisburg fifth year Ami Mattingly was named Player of the Year, St. Mary's (Md.) senior Jena Vanskiver was named Defensive Player of the Year, Penn St. Harrisburg freshman Emma Musser earned Rookie of the Year honors, and Penn St. Harrisburg head coach AJ Misselhorn was recognized as Coach of the Year.
