Lancaster Bible baseball welcomes their 48
th season in program history. The Chargers will compete in 41 total games this season including 16 United East contests. Coach Ryan McFarlane will look to take the Chargers back to the post season in his third season at the helm.
The Chargers will open 2026 on the recently renovated Charger Field, February 20
th against SUNY Oneonta, to be followed by a double header at Eastern the following day. The non-conference schedule continues against Delaware Valley (Feb. 24), Penn St. Schuylkill (Feb. 25), Penn College (Feb. 28), Wilson (Mar. 3), and Stevenson (Mar. 4).
Lancaster Bible will load the bus and head to Myrtle Beach, South Carolina March 7
th – 9
th as they take part in the Ripken Experience. The Chargers will play a total of four games against three opponents including Delaware Valley (Mar. 7), Manahattanville (Mar. 8), and Westminster (Mar. 9). The Chargers stay on the road as they head to conference opponent Cairn for their first United East match up of the year on March 14
th.
The conference season is broken up with a stretch of six non-conference games from March 17
th – March 25
th, before the Chargers welcome Valley Forge to resume the United East schedule on March 28
th. After a non-conference match up with Penn State Berks, the Chargers face Wilson (April 1 and 7) and Penn State Harrisburg (April 4) for a four-game conference stretch. The conference season resumes at Rosemon on April 11
th, but not before a home match up with Lebanon Valley (April 8).
Following an away trip at Messiah (April 14), the Chargers host Notre Dame of Maryland (April 15) and Penn State Brandywine (April 18) for three more conference home matchups. The Chargers return the trip to Notre Dame on April 21
st, followed up by an away trip across town to Franklin and Marshall (April 22
nd). The Chargers end their conference season on the road at Penn State Berks April 25
th.
The first round of the United East playoffs begins April 28
th as the Chargers look to improve on the first round exit last year against Penn State Berks.
