Lancaster Bible softball announces their slate of games for the 2026 season, as the Chargers look for a conference playoff spot this year. The Charger's season is comprised of 34 total contests, including 16 United East contests against eight teams. A season that begins on the road March 6
th against Sweet Briar.
Following this road matchup, Lancaster Bible heads down south to Myrtle Beach, South Carolina to take part in the 2026 Fastpitch Dream Spring Classic March 8-12. The Chargers will play a total of eight games against a variety of non-conference opponents, which include Mitchell (Mar. 8), Bridgewater State (Mar. 8), Covenant (Mar. 9), Penn St. Beaver (Mar. 9), Coast Guard (Mar. 11), Penn St. Scranton (Mar. 11), Martin Luther (Mar. 12), and Lycoming (Mar. 12).
The Chargers will get to play on their home field on March 21
st against Southern Virginia after a matchup with Albright (Mar. 19). Conference play begins March 28
th as Lancaster Bible heads down to the nation's capital to take on Gallaudet, following a match up with Franklin and Marshall (Mar. 26). Home games against Keystone (Apr. 1) and Valley Forge (Apr. 3) will continue the Chargers conference stretch, before one last non-conference matchup at Stevenson (Apr. 9).
Conference play resumes April 11
th at Penn State Abington followed by Lancaster Bible welcoming Cairn to Charger field (Apr. 15). A pair of road games between Penn St. Brandywine (Apr. 18) and Wilson (Apr. 21) is book ended with the Chargers back at home for the conclusion of the regular season against Penn St. Berks April 25
th.
United East tournament play begins April 29
th as
John Clemens looks to take the Chargers to post season play in his fifth year.
