The Lancaster Bible College Men's and Women's Outdoor Track & Field teams traveled to Elizabethtown, Pa. on Saturday to compete in the Tune-Up Meet hosted by Elizabethtown College, seeing one school record fall as the Chargers wrapped up the regular season in tough conditions with rain for most of the day.

*Before the game, LBC Athletics took time to recognize the program's seniors for this season in their final regular season meet, including Joey Benedict, Benjamin Cornish, Lucas Durkin, Karahn Garfield-Cotton, Evan Kline, Micah Richardson, Celia Johnson, Rosa Johnson, Emma McMurray, and Audrey Vosburg.

The Men's team had several top finishes on the track across Saturday's action, with
David Helms (Jr.) finishing third in the 1,500-Meters with a time of 4:16.85 while
John Spackman (Fr.) ran the event for the first time, finishing in 15th with a time of 4:47.78.
Karahn Garfield-Cotton (Sr.) had a solid performance in the 100-Meters, finishing just short of the finals in 10th at 11.74.
Kingsiah Oquendo (Fr.) led LBC in the 400-Meters with a time of 56.54 and also competed in the 200-Meters, finishing with a time of 26.18.
Jaden Royal (Jr.) led the Chargers in the 800-Meters, placing 13th with a time of 2:12.93, and
Gavin Hunter (Fr.) placed second in the 400M Hurdles with a time of 1:03.06.
Victor Hanley (Fr.) rounded out the track events with a personal record in the 3,000-Meter Steeplechase, placing eighth after finishing the race in a time of 12:13.85.

The Women's team had a solid showing on the track despite the rain and several DNS listings, starting with
Seana Dougherty (So.) placing eighth in the 800-Meters with a time of 2:38.03 and
Abby Ames (Jr.) finishing right behind her at 2:42.17 for ninth.
Cadee Cameron (So.) set a season-best time in the 1,500-Meters at 5:24.70 while
Rosa Johnson (Jr.) ran a personal-best time in the event at 6:18.28.

The Men's Team put up the lone school record for the Chargers on Saturday as
Emery McCombs (So.) set a new program mark in the Hammer Throw, throwing for 42.74 Meters and placing fifth in the event. McCombs also threw in the Shot Put and Discus Throw, placing ninth in Shot Put at 12.26 Meters and 13th in Discus at 33.52 Meters.
Kyle Durkin (So.) was an event-winner for the Chargers, placing first in the Javelin Throw with a distance of 52.06 Meters.
Lucas Durkin (Sr.) led the Chargers in Shot Put, placing eighth in the event with a throw of 12.37 Meters for a personal record.
Landon Zeiset (Fr.) led the Chargers in the jumps, placing third in the Triple Jump at 12.51 Meters and winning the Long Jump event with a distance of 6.65 Meters. Zeiset also jumped for 1.78 Meters in the High Jump to take fifth place.

The Women's team had several strong performers in the field on Saturday, including
Martha Weaver (Jr.) who placed fifth in the Shot Put at 10.80 Meters. Weaver also placed 10th in the Hammer Throw (37.59m) and 11th in the Discus Throw (27.55m) to round out a strong afternoon.
Elly Bruner (Jr.) placed second in the Long Jump at 4.88 Meters and
Lizzie Dimov (So.) took 11th at 3.83 Meters, while
Faith Garber (Jr.) represented LBC in the Triple Jump, going for 8.02 Meters.
