Lancaster, PA- This afternoon the Chargers fell to Alvernia University 18-3. In the loss, The Chargers set a season record, scoring three goals on the Crusaders.

Rebekah Weidel (Reading, PA) scored her second goal of the season with 1:57 left in the first half for a 10-1 score at the break. The Chargers scored again when Rachel Warren (Dauphin, PA) found the back of the net for her first of the season. Finally, freshman Jenna Godwin (Fairfax, VA) hit a last second buzzer beater for a final of 18-3. Sarah George had five goals for the Crusaders.

The Chargers return to action at home Friday, against Polytechnic University at 4:30 PM.
