The Lancaster Bible College Women's Lacrosse team recognized their seniors on Saturday, April 22 despite their final home game of the season against Trinity Washington University being canceled due to inclement weather. The Chargers currently sit at 3-9 overall and 2-2 in the United East while clinching the final spot in the United East Championship.
The Chargers recognized five student-athletes, including two four-year players with the program. Those five seniors are #10
Dominique Statuti, #4
Abby Donaldson, #6
Lindsey Weaver, #3
Brooke Breon, and #2
Kym Kouterick.
This was Statuti's first season with the Chargers and has appeared in eight games thus far. She recorded her first collegiate shot on March 3 against Alliance.
Donaldson has two seasons with the Chargers, playing in 25 games so far. She has scored 17 career goals and assisted on eight others. She has also picked up 13 ground balls and recorded 37 shots on goal.
This is also Weaver's second season for the Chargers, playing in 24 games and recording 20 career goals and 12 assists. Weaver has also collected 48 ground balls and won 55 draw controls.
Breon is in her fourth season as a member of the program. She has battled injuries throughout much of her time in a Chargers uniform and has played in 16 career games. Brooke has scored three career goals and collected 32 ground balls.
Kouterick has also competed in four seasons with the Chargers, playing in 43 games thus far. She has scored 17 career goals and assisted on 13 others throughout her four years. Kym has performed well on every inch of the field as she has 106 career ground balls, as well as 85 draw controls.
The Chargers have two regular season games left this week as they travel to Juniata on Wednesday, April 26 and to Mount Aloysius for a final conference game on Saturday, April 29.
