Lancaster, PA- The women's lacrosse team couldn't shake the rust of ten days off Saturday in their 20-2 loss to Washington and Jefferson College.
Charger's leading scorer Rebekah Weidel (Reading, PA) netted her 22nd goal of the year early in the first half to bring Lancaster within one, 2-1. Following Weidel's goal the game belonged to the Presidents scoring 14 straight until Jenna Godwin (Fairfax, VA) added the Charger's second goal with 19 minutes to go in the second half. Washington and Jefferson added the last four goals of the game for the 20-2 final. Kayla Maynard (Greenwich, NY) recorded five saves in the loss.
The Chargers are at home again on Monday when they face Wilkes University at 4:00 PM.
