New York- New York- On Friday, Rebekah Weidel (Reading, PA) scored her 16th goal of the season, which set a new a school record for goals scored in a season. The record wouldn't last long, because on Saturday teammate Kirsten Gnagy (Somerset, PA) scored three goals against Wells College bringing her season total to 17 breaking Weidel's day old record of 16.
The team didn't fair too well despite Weidel and Gnagy's efforts returning from their weekend road trip to up-state New York with a 0-2 record. On Friday, the Chargers fell to Cazenovia College 22-2, and on Saturday Kirsten Gnagy (Somerset, PA) had her fifth multi-goal game of the year in Lancaster's 13-5 loss to Wells College.
The Chargers will look to break their current losing skid on Wednesday at Wilson College at 3:00 PM.
