The Lancaster Bible College women's lacrosse team lost its 2010 home opener on Thursday, falling to Centenary, 16-5.

Megan Mars led the Cyclones with six goals and an assist. Kiti Ovaskainen added three goals and four assists for Centenary (1-0), while Danielle Bay had four goals and an assist.

The Chargers (0-4) were led by Becka Hixson's two goals. Whitney Heise scored her first collegiate goal and added an assist. Rebekah Weidel and Kirsten Fuller had the other LBC goals. Despite taking the loss, Nicole Valinteno made 14 saves for the Chargers.

LBC is back in action on Wednesday when they travel to the Tar Heel State to take on Methodist at 3:30 p.m.
