Alvernia scored 14 first half goals and easily defeated the Lancaster Bible College women's lacrosse team, 18-3 on Tuesday in Reading.
Rebekah Weidel scored twice for the Chargers, while
Rachel Warren added the third goal. LBC is now 0-3 on the season.
Alvernia (1-0) opened the scoring just 11 seconds into the game on a goal by Sarah George. The Crusaders were led by Allison Bainbridge's four goals and two assists. George and three others had three goals or more.
Alvernia outshot the Chargers 24-11.
LBC is back in action on Thursday when they will host their first game of the season. They take on Centenary at 4:00 p.m.
