The Lancaster Bible College women's lacrosse team is at the midway point of their 2010 schedule and they are running on all cylinders.
Jenna Godwin scored five times and added an assist as the Chargers crushed Penn State-Abington, 21-7 on Tuesday at Charger Field.
Rebekah Weidel added four goals and two assists as LBC (3-6) won for the third time in four games.
Rachel Warren and
Becka Hixson had three goals each, while
Kirsten Fuller,
Mercedes Collins and
Whitney Heise each had two goals.
Nicole Valinteno had three saves to earn her third win of the season.
LBC out shot the Nittany Lions (3-3) 37-16 for the game. The Chargers also collected five more ground balls than PSU-Abington, winning 15-10.
PSU-Abington was led by Dakota Hahn's three goals, while Kailey Halliwell had two goals. Goalkeeper Danielle Fontaine had eight saves in the loss.
The Chargers look to keep their strong play going on Wednesday when they head to Dover, Delaware to take on Wesley College at 4:00 p.m.
