The Lancaster Bible College women's lacrosse got back to its winning ways on Friday, defeating Trinity (D.C.) University, 16-5. In the process, they set a school-record for most goals scored in one season. Their 94 goals through 11 games are 10 more than the previous school-record of 84 set last season.
Jenna Godwin and
Whitney Heise had four goals each to lead the Chargers' balanced attack.

Rebekah Weidel and
Mercedes Collins each had two goals to help LBC to its third win in four games.
The Chargers (4-7) scored 12 goals in the first half and took a 12-1 lead into the break. They out shot the Tigers (1-7) 17-2 in the opening half as well. Heise opened the scoring three minutes into the game, and when she scored her fourth of the half with 3:08 remaining, it was 12-0 LBC and the rout was on.
Goalkeeper
Nicole Valinteno made five saves to earn her fourth victory of the season. For the game, LBC out shot the Tigers, 23-12.
The Chargers continue their four-game homestand on Thursday when they host SUNY-Maritime at 5:00 p.m.
