Immaculata scored five goals in the first 2:54 of the game and never looked back, defeating Lancaster Bible College, 15-3 on Wednesday at Charger Field.
Kacie O'Neill and Rebecca Whiteman each had two goals in the first 2:54 to pace the Mighty Macs. Whiteman finished with four goals on the day, while O'Neill had three.
"We were just not ready to play," Chargers' Head Coach Evelyn Long said. "I thought we played much better in the second half, but the first half did us in."
Whitney Heise scored twice for the Chargers, giving her 19 for the season, while
Kirsten Fuller scored LBC's other goal. Goalie
Erin Leonard made 14 saves for the Chargers (2-4).
"It was a learning experience today," Long said. "I thought we did some things better in the second half, especially our transition from defense to offense, but we have to be able to do that for 60 minutes."
The Chargers are off until Tuesday when they host Wesley at 4 p.m.
