Box Score The Lancaster Bible women's lacrosse team opened North Eastern Athletic Conference play with a 19-1 loss to SUNYIT on Friday afternoon at Charger Field.

The Wildcats scored just 23 seconds into the game and scored 13 more times in the first half as they led 14-0 at halftime. SUNYIT (2-0, 1-0 NEAC) added four more goals in the second half before Lancaster Bible senior Emily Martz spoiled the Wildcats' shutout bid with her third goal of the year.

Lancaster Bible goalie Cheyenne Benson made six saves in the loss. SUNYIT outshot the Chargers, 28-8, including 20-1 in the opening 30 minutes. The teams split the 22 draw controls, 11-11, while SUNYIT held a 27-14 edge in ground balls.

Lancaster Bible (0-7, 0-1 NEAC) will have little time to think about the loss as they host Medaille on Saturday at 1 p.m. Medaille defeated Wilson, 19-1 on Friday in Chambersburg, Pa.
