Screaming Eagles Take Down Chargers

Box Score The Lancaster Bible women's lacrosse team lost its third straight game on Thursday as the Chargers fell to St. Elizabeth, 12-7 in Morristown, N.J. The loss drops Lancaster Bible to 1-12 overall and 1-5 in North Eastern Athletic Conference play. 

Senior Emily Martz scored three goals for the Chargers while freshmen Joanna Shughart and Alyssa Wesner had two goals apiece. Sophomore goalie Cheyenne Benson made four saves in the loss. Senior Annie Hoover assisted on Martz' third goal giving her two assists this season. 

The Chargers will conclude their season next week when they play three times. Lancaster Bible will take on Penn St. Abington on Wednesday at Hatboro-Horsham High School outside of Abington, Pa. and then host Morrisville State and Cazenovia next weekend. The Chargers will honor their seniors on Friday prior to the game against Morrisville State and then play their final game of the year on Saturday against the Wildcats.
