Mustangs Run Past Chargers

Box Score The Lancaster Bible women's lacrosse team suffered a 20-2 loss at the hands of Morrisville State on Friday at Charger Field. The loss drops the Chargers to 1-14 this season and 1-7 in North Eastern Athletic Conference play.

Senior Emily Martz and freshman Joanna Shughart scored the goals for Lancaster Bible, while sophomore goalie Cheyenne Benson made eight saves. Freshman Alyssa Wesner earned an assist on Lancaster Bible's first goal, increasing her team lead to five this season.

Shelby Wood had five goals and an assist for the Mustangs, whlie Jessica Young added two goals and three assists.

The Chargers will wrap-up their season on Saturday as they host Cazenovia at 1 p.m. on Charger Field. Lancaster Bible will honor its seniors as they play for the final time.
