Box Score The Lancaster Bible women's lacrosse team picked up its first win of the 2014 season on Saturday as the Chargers downed Wilson, 15-5 at Charger Field. Freshman Alyssa Wesner led the way as she scored three goals and added three assists.

The Chargers entered the game with six goals as their season high in a game. They eclipsed that in the first half as they scored 10 times en route to a 10-2 halftime lead. Wesner, Ky-Leigh Hallman, Britany Stout and Annie Hoover each scored twice for Lancaster Bible in the opening 30 minutes. Senior Ellie Hoover and freshman Joanna Shughart each scored twice in the second half, while Wesner completed the hat trick.

Lancaster Bible (1-9, 1-2 NEAC) sophomore goalie Cheyenne Benson finished with eight saves as the Chargers improved to 6-0 all-time against the Phoenix.

Nicole Melanson led Wilson with three goals.

The Chargers are back in action next Friday when they take on Wells in Aurora, N.Y. The game is scheduled to begin at 4 p.m.
