Â
The Lancaster Bible College women's lacrosse team opens its 2020 season on Saturday afternoon, as the Chargers host Delaware Valley in the first of 10 home games this season.
Â
The Chargers lost their first six games a season ago, but two of them came by one goal, as the Chargers played a tough non-conference slate. Lancaster Bible dropped its first two North Eastern Athletic Conference contests as well, but rebounded with two straight wins, defeating Penn St. Abington and Hilbert in mid-April.
Â
The 2020 team features depth, but lots of new faces, as senior leaders and offensive weapons,
Hannah Thompson and
Raegan Horst graduated. The offense will come from lots of places this season, while the squad will look to play solid team defense in the midfield and in its own end.

3 Questions for 2020
1. Where is the offense coming from this season? The three leading scorers from last season are gone, and they accounted for 132 of the team's 157 goals, so who is ready to step up and score this season?
Â
2. The Chargers will play a tough non-conference schedule once again this season, as they prepare for NEAC play. How will Lancaster Bible fare in non-conference action, and how it will it get them ready for conference play?
Â
3. Lancaster Bible plays 10 games at home this season, and the Chargers played much better at home than on the road last year. Will the 10 games at home mean more wins?
