How It Happened
The Lancaster Bible College women's lacrosse team fell for the first time this season, losing to Saint Vincent College by a score of 19-12 on Friday, March 11.
Saint Vincent (2-1) scored first, striking in the first minute. The Chargers (4-1) answered back with
Kendal Ream scoring her first goal of the game. The Bearcats scored the next two goals, making the score 3-1.
Katelynn Perrotta got on the board, scoring a goal on a free position shot. Saint Vincent scored the first two goals of the second quarter building three goal lead. Playing down a player, the Chargers rallied back with Ream and Perrotta each netting a goal to cut the deficit down to one. The Bearcats regrouped scoring back-to-back goals to stretch the lead back to three. Perrotta caught fire just before the half, scoring two straight goals, making the score 7-6 going into the half.
The Bearcats controlled play for most of the third quarter, scoring the first four goals of the quarter to take an 11-6 lead. Perrotta momentarily halted the run, scoring her fifth goal of the game. St. Vincent closed the quarter on a 3-0 run, taking a 14-7 lead into the final quarter. LBC tried to make a push earlier in the fourth quarter with
Kayla Steiner and Ream each scoring a goal to pull the Chargers back within six. The Chargers could not cut into the deficit any further, eventually falling 19-12.

- The Bearcats were led by Joey Smith who scored four goals and dished eight assists
- Saint Vincent won the draw, holding a 23-12 edge in draw controls
