The United East Conference released their weekly award winners for last week on Monday afternoon, with the Chargers earning two honors as both Women's Volleyball senior
Madison Timberlake and Men's Soccer freshman
Micah Dressler were named Defensive Player of the Week. This is Timberlake's second weekly honor while Dressler notches his first career Player of the Week in his first season.

Timberlake has been the steady anchor on defense for Lancaster Bible through five matches, finishing with 35 total digs on the week and a stellar 5.83 digs per set as the Chargers defeated Elizabethtown 3-0 on Tuesday and fell 0-3 to Eastern on Thursday. Madison has reached 16+ digs in all five matches so far in 2025 and has 94 total digs for the season through five matches. Timberlake ranks second in the United East Conference this season in digs per set at 5.53 and is fourth in total digs, trailing only Izzy Stewart of Notre Dame (Md.) in digs per set so far. Madison had three assists, two aces, and a kill as well for the week for the Chargers.

Dressler has started all three of the Chargers' games so far in 2025 and has led LBC to a 1-1-1 start to the season. He picked up his first career win on Monday night against Wilkes in a 2-1 victory where he had six saves, then recorded his first career shutout on Wednesday night as the Chargers worked a 0-0 draw with Alvernia, making three saves on 12 shots faced. Micah tallied nine saves on the week with just one goal allowed through two matches, landing him second in the conference in save percentage (.882) and goals against average (.667) and sixth in the conference with 5.00 saves per game.

Timberlake and the Women's Volleyball team are on the road this week as they travel to Messiah on Wednesday, September 10 and then head out to Circleville, Ohio to face both Ohio Christian in a rematch of the 2024 NCCAA Mideast Championship and Rochester Christian on Saturday, September 13. For Dressler and the Men's Soccer team, they play Gwynedd Mercy on the road on Wednesday before returning home to host York (Pa.) on the Donald H. Funk Field at Willis & Martha Herr Stadium on Saturday at 4:00 p.m.
