The United East Conference released their weekly award winners for last week on Monday afternoon and Tuesday morning, with the Chargers earning four total honors for the week across three teams. Men's Basketball junior
Camden Hurst was named Offensive Player of the Week, Women's Track & Field grabbed two honors with sophomore
Seana Dougherty earning Track Athlete of the Week and junior
Elly Bruner earning Field Athlete of the Week, and Men's Track & Field saw junior
David Helms earn Track Athlete of the Week. Hurst collects his third weekly honor of the season and second straight Offensive award, Dougherty collects her third career Indoor weekly honor, Bruner earns her first career weekly award as a Charger, and Helms wins his sixth weekly honor and second of this season.

Hurst continues to lead the Chargers' offense as they grabbed two conference wins this week, including a road win over Penn St. Brandywine on Wednesday and a home victory over Keystone on Saturday. Camden led the charge in both games, scoring 23 points against the Lions and 26 points against the Giants, shooting 16-23 (69.6%) from the field and 16-22 (72.2%) from the free throw line. Cam added seven rebounds, five assists, two blocks, and one steal to his totals for the week as the Chargers went 2-0 and improved to 3-0 in United East play so far. Hurst has six consecutive games with 20+ points and leads the conference in scoring at 21.3 points per game.

Dougherty took home Track Athlete of the Week as she placed third in the 3,000-Meters at the LVC Invite with a time of 11:29.96, making the NCCAA qualifying mark in the process. Seana's time is currently ranked first in the United East in the 3,000-Meters, while also ranking first in the 5,000-Meters and second in the Mile Run.

Bruner earns her first weekly honors as a Charger as she showed out at the LVC Invite on Friday, placing first in the Triple Jump at 10.88 Meters and second in the High Jump at 1.55 Meters. Her Triple Jump mark set a new LBC program record and ranks her first in the United East and third in the NCCAA in the event. Elly also ran a time of 9.31 in the 55-Meter Hurdles (adj. 10.02 for 60-Meters), meeting the NCCAA qualifying mark in the event as well. She ranks first in the conference and in the NCCAA in High Jump and second in the United East in Long Jump. On the national level, Elly is currently first in the Mid-Atlantic Region in Triple Jump and third in High Jump, while for all of NCAA Division III she ranks 28th in Triple Jump and 43rd in High Jump.

Helms earned his second weekly honor of the season after winning the 3,000-Meters event at the LVC Invite with a time of 9:00.47 and placing third in the Mile Run with a 4:34.04 time, making the NCCAA qualifying mark in both events. David's times were both less than six seconds off the school records and were both career bests. He currently sits atop the United East Conference in all three of the Mile Run, 3,000-Meters, and 5,000-Meters and ranks first in the NCCAA in the 5,000-Meters, ranking third in both the Mile Run and 3,000-Meters as well. David also sits at 36th in NCAA Division III in the 5,000-Meters with a time of 15:10.80, which he ran back in December en route to his first weekly honor of the season.

For Hurst and the Men's Basketball team, the Chargers have two conference games this week as they travel to face Gallaudet tonight at 5:00 p.m. in Washington, D.C., then return home on Saturday, January 17 as they host St. Mary's (Md.) at 1:00 p.m. For Dougherty, Bruner, Helms, and the LBC Track & Field teams, their next meet will be held this Saturday, January 17 as they compete in the Alvernia Winter Invite in Reading, Pa. hosted by Alvernia University.
