The United East Conference released their weekly award winners for this past week on Monday and Tuesday, with Lancaster Bible receiving two weekly honors as Mallie McNatt (Fr.) was named Field Hockey Offensive Player of the Week and Clark Brubacher (So.) earned Golfer of the Week. This marks the first career Player of the Week honors for both McNatt and Brubacher and the first of the season for both the Field Hockey team and Men's Golf team.
 
Mallie helped lead the Chargers to a 2-0 week as they took down King's (Pa.) 3-0 on Wednesday and defeated Cedar Crest 3-1 for their first United East win of the season. The Chargers also earned back-to-back victories for the first time since 2023 and have scored in a program-record six consecutive home games this season. McNatt was a huge part of that success this week, scoring a goal in both games for two on the week on five total shots. All her shots were on goal as well, scoring the game-winning goal as the opener in a shutout win over the Monarchs and the second goal in a 3-1 win over the Falcons in conference play. Mallie is now one of four players for the Chargers with multiple goals and tied for fourth on the team with four points.
 
Clark led the Chargers as he placed 2nd overall amongst individuals last Monday with a score of 71 at the Golden Oaks Shootout in Fleetwood, Pa., scoring a -1 overall. Brubacher was one of just four golfers to shoot even or better for the day and tallied four holes under par, including three birdies and one eagle on the 11th hole. Clark has led the Chargers each of their first three outings this season, shooting even or better in three of his five rounds.
 
McNatt and the rest of the LBC Field Hockey team have two more home United East matchups this week as they host Immaculata on Wednesday, October 7 at 4:00 p.m. and Penn St. Harrisburg on Saturday, October 10 at 5:30 p.m. Brubacher and the rest of the Men's Golf team have two sets of action this week as they wrap up competition today in The Battle at Bulle Rock in Harve De Grace, Md., followed by the United East Preview in Mill Hall, Pa. hosted by Penn College at the Belle Springs Golf Course on Thursday, October 8.
